The Kardashian Christmas card cost a whopping $250,000 to shoot, but “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” production footed the bill!
The Kardashian/Jenner family Christmas card is always a big to do, but this year was a little different.
Despite the fact that Rob Kardashian, Scott Disick, Lamar Odom, Kanye West, and baby North West weren’t in the photo, photographer Dave LaChapelle went all out with a futuristic themed photograph. (We’re not really sure what this has to do with Christmas, but okay!)
The whole shebang cost $250K to shoot, but the Kardashian’s did pay out their deep pockets. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” production footed the bill, meaning the E! Network paid for the whole thing.
$250K for a Christmas card? It’s kind of sad when you think about all the needy families that could put that money to better use.
“At first, David balked because he does photo shoots for major magazines, but Kim convinced him to do it. It wasn’t a cheap photo shoot, and the production company of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” paid the $250,000 invoice. Hair, make-up, wardrobe, were all paid for by production, and the Kardashians didn’t pay one dime for their Christmas card!” a source revealed.
The feedback over the Kardashian Christmas card hasn’t been great, and many fans just don’t get how it relates to the holiday season.
